Waterway Hills Golf Club, one of only two courses in Myrtle Beach designed by Robert Trent Jones, is undoubtedly 27-holes of golf pleasure. Formally know as Skyway Golf Club, this 27 hole facility presents different perspectives with each 9 holes you play. Aptly named, Ravine, Lakes and Oaks each of the nine’s shows you a unique
characteristic. |
Each of the three layouts play basically the same with somewhat rolling, narrow, tree-lined fairways, ponds, lakes, limited bunkering and average-sized greens with some undulations. To prove that you’ll get nothing but a classic round of golf, Waterway Hills Golf Club has tactically positioned bunkers along their rolling terrain and strategic landing areas specific to Trent Jones style. |
Set amongst acres of woodlands and sparkling lakes, Waterway Hills stands out in Myrtle Beach. In fact, you’ll have to hop aboard the gondola and be whisked across the Inter-coastal before you even
see Waterway Hills, since the Gondola is the “ski lift” type not the type you t foot on the course! If you are afraid of heights you may want to avoid would frequent in Venice.
