A lot has changed in the past 200 years, especially for Wachesaw Plantation. Centuries ago a hunt began on this southern Myrtle Beach former Rice Plantation property. It began with a rifle and small metal ball and sack of gunpowder. Today, the hunt begins with a larger, dimpled white ball and an oversized titanium driver. Today the hunt is for the perfect round of golf, instead of dinner. The triumph of victory is no less exhilarating today than it was centuries ago. |
Wachesaw Plantation is a Semi-Private facility with two courses, with the East course available for public play. A strong taste of Scottish design is evident in the traditional mounding and rolling fairways that lead to the fast and true Tif-Eagle greens. Freshwater lakes and scenic wetlands provide a calming background to enhance your golf experience while strategically-placed bunkers will heighten your senses and make to take notice of the course's challenge. The five sets of tees makes Wachesaw East a pleasing experience for every golf skill level. The age old rice plantation gives an ideal setting for any golfer with a passion for the sport. Take in the beauty of Wachesaw Plantation East and take in a bit of history. The hunt for the perfect round can be achieved at Wachesaw East.
