Possum Trot features renowned customer service and a Russell Breeden-designed course with wide fairways and large greens that are a delight for players of all skill levels. You'll certainly finish off your good round with one final challenge...keeping your ball out of the lake fronting the green and guarding the right side of the fairway and green. A birdie always brings you back for more. A long-respected venue, Possum Trot Golf Course's old English design, spacious fairways, and awesome Par 5's make for a golfing experience as good as it gets. |
Possum Trot was built to give the average gentleman or lady golfer a pleasantly challenging, but not threatening, morning or afternoon on well-kept fairways and manicured greens. This was Possum Trot for generations of winter, spring, summer, and autumn visitors to the Myrtle Beach area and for resident golfers at special winter and summer rates. Things have changed dramatically at Possum Trot in the last few years; the conditioning, the course appearance, and the friendliness of the staff are all still here. But many improvements have been made including reshaping tees and fairways, improving additional mounding and irrigation and drainage improvements. Possum Trot has the first complete indoor-outdoor practice and instructional facility in Myrtle Beach.
