Water is the inescapable element in this campaign -- your constant companion as you travel from the first tee to the final battle at the 18th green. Never underestimate the lake at Man O' War. It can change from all to enemy as its sparkling beauty also becomes a punishing hazard. However, Man O' War is a uniquely fair playing field. Dan Maple's own clever strategy of interweaving holes that call for different skills has created a course that rewards golfers of all proficiencies. |
Renowned architect Dan Maples has designed some of america's most exciting and talked about golf courses. Now, with his first new course in Myrtle Beach in seven years. This long-awaited course is brimming with a variety of experiences, including a pair of back-to-back island greens, and the awesome island ninth, surrounded by water from tee to green. Grab your bag and give this new track a shot. Man O' War appears to be on it's way to being one of the classic courses on the Strand and may well be one of the toughest courses you'll ever play.
