The Barefoot Resort is a mixture of style and texture that makes up the 54 championship holes appropriately names for their designer. Each championship course offers a challenge to even the best of golfers. Of the four courses, The Dye Course is the only semi-private facility at Barefoot Resort and has its own clubhouse featuring fantastic views of holes 9, 10 and 18.
The Love Course at Barefoot Resort is a traditional course with a Lowcountry character and incorporates Davis Love, III's Carolina golfing experiences in the design. This visually striking course features course generous landing areas and greens complexes similar to those found at the 1999 U.S. Open. Wide open fairways and generous landing areas set the stage for an unforgettable round of golf. The Love Course was ranked “#6 Best New Public Upscale Course” by Golf Digest 2000, and a 4 1/2 Star Rating, Golf Digest’s Places to Play 2002.
Davis was determined to build a course that was unique, visually striking and fun to play. The course even incorporates a replica of ruins from a 17th Century plantation house, similar to ruins found along holes in Scotland and Ireland. The Love course incorporates the recreated ruins along holes 3-7.

Take Harrelson Boulevard to Highway 17 Bypass North, Make a Right and follow 17 until you reach Route 501, Take 501 North until you reach Highway 31 North (Carolina Bays Parkway), Take 31 N. until the exit for Highway 22 (Veteran’s Highway), Take 22 East and head towards the town of North Myrtle Beach, At the end of 22 make a Left onto Highway 17 North, Continue through town on 17 until you see Alligator Adventure’s and the House of Blues, Make a Left onto Bridge Road and cross the swing bridge into the resort.
