The Barefoot Resort is a mixture of style and texture that makes up the 54 championship holes appropriately names for their designer. Each championship course offers a challenge to even the best of golfers.
The Fazio Course at Barefoot Resort is routed through a spectacular landscape in the heart of the Barefoot Resort. Like many European courses, the course does not return to the clubhouse after nine holes. It is not a British links style course, but rather a classic Lowcountry course, filled with live oaks, pines, sand, natural areas and native grasses.
Located between the Dye Course and the Love Course, the Fazio course has been purposefully designed, incorporating extensive tree cover and many lakes into the landscaping.
For a more visual effect, the waste areas and formal bunkers have been handcrafted and intentionally placed, while natural elevation changes add a taste of drama and competitiveness the to golfing round. Water features can be seen on 15 holes, yet many lakes are in out-of-play areas not to impede playability.
The Fazio Course is approximately 6,834 yards long, has four sets of tee to accommodate all skill levels as well as, a course that has a balanced game of challenge and fun!
